March 18,2020 Hermana Prue left New York on March 18th and flew into Detroit to change planes. Because of an earthquake near Salt Lake City the airport there closed down for a while and the plane was delayed. Then delayed again, and again, then canceled. They scheduled her for other flights that were then canceled. Finally, she was able to get a flight to Salt Lake that landed close to 10:00 PM and couldn't get a connecting flight to Idaho Falls until the next morning. Kelly was able to pick her up and a former mission companion, Alyssa Jeppson came along! Because of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) she couldn't hug anyone and had to stay 6 feet away from others. She spent the night with Kelly and was on a flight the next morning to Idaho Falls! March 19,2020 At the airport she couldn't hug anyone so I printed ...
May 20, 2019 Hola Everyone! This week was a week of miracles! It was our best proselytizing week of the transfer, and we met such a sweet soul. Her name is Mirella, and she is dating a member of the YSA ward. We decided to look her up a couple of weeks back, and she wasn't home. I apparently called her, but I only kind of remember it and obviously forgot about it. We then went to look her up again and she turned out to be one of the coolest people ever! On our first real lesson she looked at a calendar and decided that June 15th was a good day to be baptized. We couldn't agree more! She is so prepared to start living more fully the Gospel of Jesus Christ in her life. It is going to bless her so much, so stay tuned. We saw lots of huge miracles with little José this week. I now have a greater testimony that through the small efforts of many that Heavenly Father works His greatest miracles. As we put our best foot forward in faith, God will make much more of our ef...
October 25, 2018 ¡Hola Everybody! In a few short days, I'll be in New York City preaching the good news. My time at the MTC has been as long as it has been short. At the moment I'm feeling like if I go to New York there will be trouble, but if I stay at the CCM then it'll be double. I'm excited to get into the field though, and I've found myself humming New York songs rather a lot in the past couple of days. I will be departing from the CCM at 3 am Monday morning, with having to get to reception by 2:30 in the morning. Presidente Bennett promises that if we go to bed on time, then we will have enough energy to make it through the day well. For the most part, this last week has been an attempt to hustle to the finish line, but some interesting enough things happened over the course of the week to keep things interesting. Hermana Gonzalez and I were leading the district to the computer labs for language study when we walked in and saw two birds flyi...
