Hermana Prue's 2-day Journey Home

March 18,2020

Hermana Prue left New York on March 18th and flew into Detroit to change planes. Because of an earthquake near Salt Lake City the airport there closed down for a while and the plane was delayed. Then delayed again, and again, then canceled. They scheduled her for other flights that were then canceled. Finally, she was able to get a flight to Salt Lake that landed close to 10:00 PM and couldn't get a connecting flight to Idaho Falls until the next morning. Kelly was able to pick her up and a former mission companion, Alyssa Jeppson came along! Because of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) she couldn't hug anyone and had to stay 6 feet away from others. She spent the night with Kelly and was on a flight the next morning to Idaho Falls!

At the airport she couldn't hug anyone so I printed my face and put it on a doll so that after 18 months of service she could get a hug at the airport! She was greeted by her mom, Natalia, Joseph and Lexi Dummar. Soooo happy to have her home.

Hermana Prue was released at about 7:30 that night over the phone with President Packer. He had us put the phone on speaker phone so that Ali, Paul and I could all be a part of it. It was very special. We are all so happy to have Ali home.
