Letter #27 - Week 29: Clásica Semana Cinco y Conferencia General

April 8, 2019 Hola Everyone! This week was absolutely wild with General Conference. It is such a wonderful blessing to here from our living prophet and apostles who reveal to us revelation for our day. Just as Christ did, they teach in simple, easy to understand parables and stories. These can help us to understand and share the gospel with those around us. Living the gospel takes conscious effort and time. Doctrine and Covenents 131:6 reads: "It is impossible for a man to be saved in ignorance" Preach My Gospel further elaborates that: "For you to grow in the gospel and stay on the path that leads to eternal life, you need to develop a habit of gospel study". While we must draw on the power of Jesus Christ each day in order to continually progress, it is all within our capacity. Letter #26 - Week 28: I Walked Straight Into a Pole and I Wasn't Even Doing Anything

April 1, 2019 Hola Everyone! This week had plenty of adventures and dramatic Hispanics, but that's the fun of it all. Here's a rundown of the week: -Ludin (one of our people on baptismal date) is pretending like he's not progressing, but he totally is and has been a lot happier lately. We dropped in as a surprise on Saturday the day after our scheduled appointment and taught him about fasting because this week was fast Sunday and we forgot. He asked for a Come, follow me booklet and goes to a study group in the ward 😮 -Luna and Chen (our YSA baptismal date people) went to Niagara Falls this weekend and DIDN'T COME TO CHURCH 😭 They are so sweet though and they are making leaps and bounds in their proximity to Christ. -We started teaching this little boy named José this weekend and put him on baptismal date for June 8th 😊 He is nine and his mom is a member. They recently moved from their country and he knows and does so much already! We're excited ...
